Testimonials
"At Bainbridge, my mom is active, social, and surrounded by friends.
The staff takes excellent care of her, monitoring her health and providing occupational and physical therapy. If she misses a day, they call to check on her. Bainbridge offers a wonderful recreation program—they celebrate birthdays and holidays, organize interesting excursions, and serve fresh, homemade, and kosher meals with a wide variety of options. The warm, caring atmosphere gives our family peace of mind, knowing she is in good hands."

"I have been attending Bainbridge for almost 20 years.
This program has been a tremendous help to me, and it’s truly the nicest one I’ve ever been a part of. The staff here are incredibly kind and supportive. I especially enjoy physical and occupational therapy, as they help me a lot. I also participate in the breathing group, which helps keep my blood pressure down. The music group is another favorite of mine—I love to sing! The food here is good, and overall, I highly recommend this program to others. It has made a big difference in my life!"

"You make my time here well-spent and special!
You will stay in shape with the eclectic and kinetic music and moves of Gena. Pilates with Alexandria is a great way to stay toned. Jane’s breathing classes are effective and a must-do! Dr. Vincent’s skilled physical therapy exercises have helped me improve my walking and balance. Day Trips? Bainbridge has that! Makeovers? Bainbridge has that! Art and crafts? Bainbridge has that! Programs and activities? Bainbridge has that!"

"I’m finally regaining my lifestyle from before my stroke.
In 2019, I had a stroke. I was in the hospital for 2 ½ months, and I hated it there. I went home and started getting outpatient physical therapy, but I wasn’t making progress. Then a friend told me about Bainbridge. I come every day and get therapy. Now I can walk, climb stairs, and go shopping for myself."

"The staff treats you like family, real warm and caring.
I served on active duty in Texas from ’78 to ’80, then was in the reserves from ’83 to ’91. I like getting out of the house and meeting new people—that’s one of the best parts of Bainbridge. Coming here is good for the food and the company. The staff helps with everything—transportation, cost of living, bills, Medicaid, Medicare, you name it. The food’s great too. It tastes like fresh home cooking."

"I look forward to coming every day!
I come to Bainbridge all the way from the Bronx, and it’s more than worth the trip! It is also energetic, musical, comical, love-filled, and culturally rich. Many languages are spoken, including English, Yiddish, Russian, and Hebrew. Most of all, the universal languages of song, dance, and great happiness flow throughout Bainbridge Adult Care Center with many ethnicities. I love the CNAs who serve because they keep our comfort and safety in mind while keeping a sharp eye out. Big appreciation to the housekeeping team. They keep the center really, really clean. Great friends are here!"

"I came to Bainbridge for a free visit and immediately liked this place.
After I retired, life was boring and lonely, with only TV and no human interactions. Now, I come three times a week and spend quality time here, enjoying activities, good food, and attentive care. A car picks me up in the morning, and I’m back home around 2 p.m. I find the psychological lessons and discussions interesting, and I even prepare topics for them. I had an interesting career as a chemist, and I appreciate the mental stimulation. There’s also great singing, dancing, and entertainment. Additionally, they monitor my blood pressure, adding to my overall well-being."

"After two years of isolation and depression at home, Mom found new joy and energy in Bainbridge Daycare.
At first, she was scared and shy, but they let her come for a free day, and she loved it. Mom participates in activities like shows, exercise, and therapy and sometimes even prefers going there over spending time with the grandkids! It’s so reassuring to know she’s safe, well-cared for, and motivated—she’s like a whole new person."
