Our Mission
At Bainbridge Adult Day Care Center, we are dedicated to helping seniors maintain their independence and comfort within their communities for as long as possible. By offering personalized healthcare that caters to each individual’s unique needs, we empower older adults to preserve their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Exceeding Expectations
For 25+ Years
In 1998, Bainbridge Adult Day Care Center opened in Sheepshead Bay.
Our founders had already introduced the innovative Nursing Home Without Walls program in the Bronx. This initiative provided necessary support and services to impaired adults while allowing them to remain in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.
Now, they expanded their community-based care model to a daycare in Brooklyn. Our new center quickly became known for its compassionate and individualized care. In fact, we have participants who came when we opened and are still here more than 25 years later!
Today, Bainbridge serves over 300 participants. They come from Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Nassau County. Each one receives dedicated care and becomes an integral part of our Bainbridge family.

These are some of the extra details we pay attention to. . .
As the COVID lockdown began, Bainbridge paid staff out-of-pocket to work remotely for several weeks, arranging safe discharge. With dedicated, creative thinking, we made sure everyone had food, medications, and care at home. And after Hurricane Sandy hit, we were only closed for one day. Even former staff came in to help us clean up and reopen.
